#1wordwednesday / together

It’s #1wordwednesday and tonight, I’m thankful to be together.

I have more compassion and understanding now for any parent that has had to spend time apart from their baby.

I have more appreciation for time to just sit and be still and hold my child in my arms.

God, thank you for all that you’ve done for our family. Thank you for putting us together.

For the first time, we were able to capture our family meeting and holding Brock.

  1. So glad to see you all together. We have been praying for you all. My one word is understanding. As I started back to college this week I need the Lord to help me understand all that I am learning and where he is directing me. Love you all.

    1. Praying for understanding for you. You’ve got this, friend! God has put you here in this place for a purpose. Stay strong in the midst of the storm. Love you!

  2. Love the pictures! Sometimes God puts things in our path so that we will have more empathy to others battles, so see this as an opportunity to possibly help someone who is or may be in the near future experiencing this same battle! God always has a plan, even though we don’t always understand why. So glad Brock has improved and you finally get to love on that sweet baby boy!! My word tonight is empathy. I really need to work on this in my life, I have had enough pity parties and it’s time I do what I’ve been called to do and help other women:). Praying for everyone and I’m a phone call away if you need anything!!

    1. Your words here are almost EXACTLY what I was going to type in this blog post. God has really been speaking to me about how our experiences are used to help others around us. I believe that for you and for me, friend. God is taking us on this journey and teaching each of us to depend on Him like never before. He has such a purpose to use our stories. Love you!

  3. Resilience. God help me to bounce back from discouragement and learn to show more compassion toward others who may be experiencing what I have been through. So happy to see you all together. I know you are relieved and can truly rest now. still praying. Beautiful family.
