For today’s edition of #shareitsaturday we made the EASIEST homemade pizza ever!!
Last year I tried a homemade pizza using dough we had to make on our own and it was NOT easy. I thought maybe I would leave the pizza making to the pizza stores, but decided to give it one more try this weekend.
In the words of my sister, “This pizza is better than any pizza place I have ever been to!”
YEAH!! It seriously took 10 minutes of prep and 10 minutes of baking. That’s 20 minutes total to yummy dinner for you and your family – less than delivery most of the time!!
First, we used the Boboli premade crust. I made 2 at one time.
1 whole wheat and 1 thin crust:
Open the bag and place the crust directly on a pan. Directions on the bag say to preheat your oven to 450 degrees.
Next, I added 1 pack of Boboli Pizza Sauce (there are 3 packs in each box, I used 1 per pizza):
Then, I added cheese. We used 1 bag of shredded mozzarella for 2 pizzas – half a bag on each one.
Next, we added pepperoni.
Last, I added 1 tomato to half of one of the pizzas.
Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes.
It was SUPER yummy. Brian and Kylie thought so!
Added Bonus: If you have a Harris Teeter grocery store near you, these items are all part of the weekly Meal Deal! You get all of the items shown above, plus a 2 litter drink for $8.99 total! You’ll also have extra pizza sauce, pepperoni and cheese leftover to use again if you only make one pizza.
Start a new tradition with your family and make some homemade pizza!
