#shareitsaturday / did you know the Bible App did that?

Hi friends! For today’s edition of #shareitsaturday I wanted to let you know about a very cool feature that the Bible App recently introduced!

They have a new feature to create Bible verse images – easy and FAST!

I’ve been a huge techie-type girl for many years and I have an entire category on my phone for photo editing apps that make images with words, etc.

But this new feature is one of the fastest and easiest ways to create reminders for verses that I have used – AND the best part is that it is built right into the app, so it’s super-d-duper easy!

First of all – if you don’t have the Bible App – you can download it for FREE on your mobile phone in your app store. Just search for “Bible App” – it’s made by YouVersion.

Here are the steps to create your own verse images below.

#1: Open the Bible to any verse you want to use and click directly on the verse to highlight. Then click the little blue arrow box in the right hand corner.

#2: Select the word “Image” in the options listed

#3: Choose a background for your verse. You can select one of the options they give or load your own photo.

#4: Your verse will appear on the image. From here you can adjust the size, color, text, etc. Click save when you are finished and happy. You can cancel and go back to choose another background if you don’t like it.

#5: The verse will automatically be saved to your Bible app account. If you want to save the image to your phone, you need to do one additional step. Wait for the blue share button to appear at the bottom and click that.

#6: An option box will pop open to let you save the image to your phone, message someone, email or even load to Facebook, etc.

That’s it! Now you have an awesome image that you can use however you like. And there’s no limit to how many you create. Go create and be happy, people!

One thing I like to do is save images as the wallpaper on my phone. This is a great way to think about a certain verse during the day every time I pick up my phone – instead of just looking at my phone. I’m reminded about whatever it is I have listed.

Here’s an example:

By the way – that’s my all time favorite verse right there in Habakkuk, y’all!!

Here’s one that’s another favorite too:

Let’s spread more of the Bible around, shall we?
