#funfriday / happy spring & happiness day!

March 20, 2015 – today is such a FUN day to celebrate – and it’s #funfriday!!

Spring is officially here and today marks the first day!

We’re pretty happy about that around here:

The grass is turning green and little leaves are budding on the big tree at the front of our neighborhood!

It’s also another special day – one you may not have heard of before.

March 20, 2015 is the International Day of Happiness~

To celebrate #happiness and #funfriday we decided to grab a few bundles of the fabulous $7 flowers at Sam’s Club and make some very special flower deliveries this afternoon:

Flowers from Sam’s are the best deal and I like to keep a supply of these dollar store vases on hand to give out when needed. You can also get them at IKEA.

Note to self: Something that you think is actually fun may not be the idea of fun to your children. Kylie’s reaction when I told her what we were doing for #funfriday today? “That’s not fun!”

Geeez!!

But, thanks to my friend Becca that gave them marshmallow Easter eggs at one of our flower stops, it really did turn out to be fun πŸ™‚

We’re sending out virtual flowers and smiles to all our friends – have a fabulous weekend, ya’ll!

Proverb of the Day:
The hearing ear and the seeing eye, the Lord has made them both. [Proverbs 20:12 ESV]
