I’m not a “simplify” kind of person / how about you?
It’s not my normal. It’s more like foreign soil to me.
I like stuff, lots of stuff.
I like people, lots of people (most of the time).
Strangely enough, the simple life has always drawn my curiosity. I dream about what it would be like to live un-complicated, un-busy, un-rushed.
a simplified home = less to clean
a simplified schedule = more time with family
a simplified soul = more room for God
a simplified mind = more white space to dream
a simplified to-do list = more time for rest
a simplified closet = less looking for stuff I can never find
a simplified view of me = less guilt and pressure to be perfect
“It is the sweet, simple things of life which are the real ones after all.”
– Laura Ingalls Wilder
Let’s simplify. Yes, let’s do.
What’s your #1wordwednesday for this week, friend?
Proverb of the Day:
Telling lies about others is as harmful as hitting them with an ax, wounding them with a sword, or shooting them with a sharp arrow. [Proverbs 25:18 NLT]
