#shareitsaturday / how can it be?

This song is currently on repeat for our family:

How Can It Be by Lauren Daigle

Really let these lyrics sink in for a moment:

I am guilty
Ashamed of what I’ve done, what I’ve become
These hands are dirty
I dare not lift them up to the Holy one

You plead my cause
You right my wrongs
You break my chains
You overcome
You gave Your life
To give me mine
You say that I am free
How can it be
How can it be

I’ve been hiding
Afraid I’ve let you down, inside I doubt
That You still love me
But in Your eyes there’s only grace now

You plead my cause
You right my wrongs
You break my chains
You overcome
You gave Your life
To give me mine
You say that I am free
How can it be
How can it be

This song goes along so well with how I’ve been feeling like God is telling me to worry about myself more than what others are doing. I’m guilty. You’re guilty. All God’s children have been guilty!!

BUT – He pleads our cause. He rights our wrongs. He breaks chains. He OVERCOMES!

And the gift is free to all who will ask.

Thank you, Lord. How can it be?

Proverb of the Day:
A secret gift calms anger; a bribe under the table pacifies fury. [Proverbs 21:14 NLT]
