#funfriday / “this kid just told Kayla he has a crush on her!”

Oh yeah. You heard that right.

That’s the text I got from Brian. He and Kayla went to “Book Bingo” night at school. First I get these cute photos:

That’s a #funfriday for ya, right Brian???

Y’all pray that Brian doesn’t spend all night standing at the door with a shotgun πŸ˜‰

So while Daddy and Kayla had lots of fun at the Book Bingo, Kylie and I had fun of our own right here on the couch, in our PJs, eating chips & dip while watching Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure on Netflix!

And to make this post a bit useful and not totally boring, here’s a FANTASTIC recipe if you are looking for something quick and easy to make tomorrow to have on hand for watching a football game: Cream Cheese Crock Pot Chicken Soup

If you become wise, you will be the one to benefit. If you scorn wisdom, you will be the one to suffer. [Proverbs 9:12 NLT]

  1. This is way too early for boys! You will have to tell Kayla about the Saturday morning when you answered the phone with “hello” then “NO!” And then slammed down the phone. A little boy from school was asking if you would go with him. You said you had already told him “no” many times at school!

    • I know, right Mom? Oh goodness, I had forgotten about that story!! I believe that was 5th grade, so yes – wayyyy too young for this to be starting for Kayla πŸ™‚
