#funfriday / “slap ur momma good!”

#funfriday came today in the midst of all holiday rush and we took a few hours away from the hustle and bustle to enjoy a dinner with friends from the neighborhood and church!

After an afternoon of the Post Office and Costco and my favorite radio station in all of the world signing off the air, this is EXACTLY what I needed tonight.

And y’all – my friend Melissa didn’t even ask me to bring a single thing but MYSELF! I love this girl!

Sometimes life can get tough, but it certainly helps to know you’re not alone in all of the chaos! That’s what friends are for – you can be real, you can laugh and you can cry.

I’ve done a little bit of all of that today.

We all brought our kiddos and just gathered to break bread – and it was GOOD!

Now – prepare yourselves:

Sara made a dessert that is “slap ur momma good” in her own words, hahahah!

It’s called Cheesecake Crescent Rolls!

Do yourself a favor and go make these right now, I’m not even kidding.

Seriously – you will thank me later. Your waistline will not…

Take time to enjoy friends and fellowship – it makes life a little bit easier πŸ™‚

Proverb of the Day:
Grow a wise heart – you’ll do yourself a favor; keep a clear head – you’ll find a good life. [Proverbs 19:8]
