#shareitsaturday / 11 years & 2 books

#shareitsaturday is here!

First, it’s our love day <3 – Brian and I are celebrating 11 years of marriage – woooohoooo!! I wrote a little something special for him on my original blog tonight if you want to hop over and laugh a little with us…

11 Reasons I Will Chase Him Down if He Ever Leaves!

Second, here are 2 books you should absolutely add to your reading list for the near future. Both are super quick fictional novels and easy reads that have stories that will keep you hooked and stay with you long after you finish turning the pages.

The Five People You Meet in Heaven

You will follow Eddie the Maintenance man as he meets 5 people on his journey after death. I cried like a baby and thought about how every moment in life has a purpose and meaning that we may not ever understand this side of heaven.

The Traveler’s Gift

You will follow David Ponder, a middle aged Fortune 500 executive that loses it all and almost decides to end his life. Upon wrecking his car, he is guided on a journey in the past to meet 7 people that will each give him advice on seven decisions that determine personal success. Although this book is fictional, I found myself wanting to highlight so many sections that apply to life and how we perceive what happens to us. This book will make you want to live life to the fullest – every moment, every day!

Happy weekend, friends!

Proverb of the Day:
My son, obey your father’s commands, and don’t neglect your mother’s instruction. [Proverbs 6:20 NLT]
